The Nature Hosts Training Program (DoREP) aims to strengthen university students’ leadership skills in biodiversity, natural resource management, and climate change, and to support young people in taking active roles in nature conservation. The program consists of two phases:
Phase I (October–December 2024): Training sessions and workshopsPhase II (January–May 2025): Dissemination activities and organization of BioBlitz events
Approximately 100 university students participated in the program, which is based on a “youth-for-youth” learning approach. As a key outcome, the first BioBlitz event at Ankara University was organized, and the biodiversity data collected during the event were documented and shared with the public.
